TS800 is a Test Signal Generator for Sync and Test Signals gen-locked by Black Burst, Tri-Sync or 10 MHz Reference input signal. Dual Power Supplies, two Sync Signal Generator Units and one Change Over Unit are equipped into 3U Rack Unit with Hot Swap Mechanism.
Each unit has a structure to be inserted from the Front, and it can be swapped without touching the cable on the back connector at the maintenance. Sync Signal Unit has 8 outputs as standard, and each phase is changeable independently. Change Over Unit watches over both Sync Signal Units, and when trouble occurs it switches active unit with standby rapidly using semiconductor relay.
SDI Unit (Option) is switchable between 3G-SDI and SD/HD-SDI, and it can output Test and Black Signals at the same time. And the space for Option Unit is for customer’s additional requests.
Along with high signal accuracy and stability as normal performance, it is designed with high priority for the maintenance.
It is mountable in the 3U Rack Height without useless space by original design. (Commercial L Rack Kit is used)

Bit Map can be superimposed into SDI Test signal output, and both can be scrolled independently. |

Each unit is replaceable from the Front at the maintenance without touching cables on the back connectors. |

This unit will work as NTP Server when GPS Unit (Option) is installed, and it will be the time reference for equipments connected to the Network. |

When it is turned on, sync signals can be output immediately. |

Change over switches rapidly under 1 micro-second. |

Alarms for up to 13 items can be assigned to D-sub15pin of Remote Contact connector. |

Alarm Log function is available. |

Time code can be added into SD/HD-SDI and 3G-SDI output. When GPS Unit is installed, GPS Time can be added into them. |

Sync signal output is being kept even when in gen-lock trouble. |
